Before opening Event Lab in 2013, I spent 10 years doing event marketing & planning for some of the best in the beverage industry, including Red Bull, Rockstar, and Diageo. The decision to go freelance was an ongoing New Year’s resolution of mine over the years. So, with countless months of preparation and the blessing of my mentor (which was good thing since she was also my boss), Event Lab was born on New Year’s Day.

Today, we are a full-service boutique agency that combines our DNA with your energy to create the perfect chemistry. We aim to be trendy, bold and different. Event Lab focuses on the flawless execution of weddings, corporate projects, and social events. Whether it’s a dream wedding, lavish company gala, or an over the top theme party, our mission is to meet + exceed all of your expectations from start to finish.

We introduced wedding planning to our portfolio on a referral-only basis and it has been a beautiful marriage ever since! Our team successfully designs and manages unique weddings & events for several noteworthy clients and we have built relationships with some of the best vendors in the event planning business to date. It is the ultimate compliment when our clients trust us to take their vision to the next level. We know how important it is to understand a company’s culture or a couple’s individual style.

My personal style is industrial chic. Mixing sleek metals and rustic wood or romantic vintage pieces creates such a beautiful design balance. I love monochromatic neutrals (especially grays) with a pop of ultra-bold color! Wow factor all day. And what girl doesn’t LOVE florals? King Protea top my list of favorites, but I also dig using fresh herbs or live plants to mix it up.

I’m passionate about traveling… I haven’t been everywhere just yet, but it’s definitely on my list. I also understand the importance of giving back. I’m part of a nonprofit organization called The Teal Recovery Project, which raises awareness for women battling cervical cancer. I also volunteer with a local charity called Where Love Grows, to prepare & serve home cooked family style meals to help end hunger in the community. During the holidays, we partner with onbikes, a nonprofit that raises money to buy bicycles for at-risk children in the Tampa Bay area.
